A fun thing to do when comparing military spending, is to do it as % of GDP, GDP/CAP, and also to include a comparison of how much national debt the specific nation has.

To say nothing about including how much said nation's military-industrial complex makes, or whether or not the nation in question is trying to prevent competitors on the weapons-market from doing business.

But that doesn't fit the self-righteous delusion, so...

Epstein was operating a “compromise” operation. Who was running Epstein is debatable, but there’s probably no way he did it without some assistance of the 3 letter agencies. If you were in possession of the files, and no one associated with Epstein is quite exactly sure how “compromised” they actually are by the contents of the files, would you just “release” the files and give up all that leverage? Or, would you say you’re going to release the files, then drip, drip, drip the contents slowly? I would do the latter and do it very systematically in way to maximize “cooperation” from the powerful people on the list. Especially, if I’ve got bigger fish to fry and an entire Deep State apparatus to defeat.

OK, but there are some really big fish to fry in those files too, like Bill Gates.

If they would just arrest Bill, I'd be happy for a while. Just one biggie to start.

And that would _increase_ the leverage those files have.

Perhaps. But, as I said, this is a bigger process and should be done systematically. As for Bill, it could be very useful to have him leveraged for the time being. As in most things, patience is a virtue, and the deconstruction of the administrative state is the big prize, not the retribution on any one individual, even though it would be lovely to see some elitist heads roll.
