The one about No. of genders recognised is total bullshit. Sweden has two legal genders/sexes: male and female. Some persons may call themselves trans-sexual or intersex, but those are not legal genders but terms used by the health care-sector. However, what is true is that you can change your legal gender simply by filing a request with the Office of Taxation. This has started to lead to problems with rapists changing gender to be put in women's prisons.
But 22 genders? Bullshit.
It's bad enough the way it is - if you're a teacher and a student demand you adress them by their made-up internet pronouns and you refuse, you can have your license revoked.
If you're a Swedish teacher that is.
If you're a moslem working in one of the moslem schools, you can merrily preach-teach the usual laundry list of islamic crap.

I've met two actual transsexuals in my life, and neither of them was anything like Bluesky-screechers you can see online and in real life nowadays. Basically, apart from having a chromonal defect, they were as normal as they could manage and wanted to be normal.
The whole kidnapping of what is at heart a purely medical issue is infuriating and the perfect example of how the trans-epidemic is really about other things.
And, if you look back through the history of psychology/psychiatry, virtually every decade has had its fad (even lifestyle) diagnoses, and de-institutionalisation only made it worse.
After all, when condition X could get you locked up, and/or lobotomised and sterilised, claiming you had X just to get ahead was a no-go, and so the "me-myself-and I"-issue crowd couldn't abuse the issue of a teeny tiny percentage of people having genuine problems they wanted nothing more than be rid of.
Borderline, manic-depressive, schizophrenic, "multiple personality"-scam, ditto the "repressed memories"-scam, and on and on - all of them had their day as /the/ go-to diagnosis that made a loser just that much cooler in some circles.
