Yesterday I had to move an appointment, the guy went to hospital. He thought he had a stroke, no, it was Ghulian-Barre Syndrome, collapsed half his face. So I went shopping, saw a mate who co-owns a little cafe, "how are ya"? "Cancer in bowel and liver, a dark spot in lung"... wasn't there 3 months ago. It is an Epidemic of Coincidence.
The dying isn't done with .. it will be millions.. already is I believe ... gmo, pesticides, fertilizer, prescription drugs and malpractice will do the rest... the global juggernaut of greed is out of control.
#22 is very Orwellian. In 1984, Big Brother is constantly putting out news reports about how much production has increased each quarter, and how much richer and better off everyone is.
Will have to go back to this--did Homeric Greek in two post-graduate years, then Attic Greek 20 yrs later---"read" these philosophers, but not in their own words. Thank you for your response.
I'm a big fan of ancient Greek and Roman writing lately. They really had the same personal and political problems that we do now, so it's interesting to see how they handled them.
The "share" link above each of my memes on Substack or on my real site ( https://patrick.net/memes ) will let you email a link to the patrick.net comment where the meme came from, but that's a little obscure.
Maybe the best thing is simply to save any meme locally (right click on image in most browsers) and then mail it as an attachment.
Let me know if you can think of a better or more convenient way.

Some very good memes.
What's the story behind #53?
I don't know where the picture is from. It just seemed inspiring to me.

Yes, I love how they refer to "household" wealth and include the households of Jeff Bezos and other billionaires.
32, 35, 43, 52--Oh Thank you, Patrick!
Glad you like them.
I happened to have just read Plato's "Apology" of Socrates, which is no apology at all.
Socrates is amazingly Jesus-like, offering a kind of salvation in philosophy and accepting execution by the state for it.

Please tell me how to share Patrick’s memes..?
I do not understand: Share just takes me to emailing it..but I would like it to restack..😐
At the top of the memes, there is a circle made by two arrows. I think that will do it.
Before I go tho - I restacked … but the whole series gets restacked, not just one meme.
Is this how it usually works?
Yes, I think you're restacking the one post for a given date, which includes many memes.
Yes that’s what happens.
So, do you offer the memes separately elsewhere? Bc some
of them are very remarkable and I’d like to share them.👍🏻😎

Thank you….That shows Oldest or Newest…
Maybe there’s something in my settings so I’ll check that later - right now the back yard is calling.😎😬
