I just love gun-memes where americans think there are no guns in any of the nations of Europe.
Each and every nation has something called the Home Guard in its own language. That's hunters, former military, and other volunteers who keep fully automatic weapons and live ammunition at home, to be ready to act as support to active military in times of war.
In Sweden, the standard firearm is an AK-5 using NATO's standard 5.56 ammunition.
On top of that are some 500 000 hunters (out of a 10 000 000 population), where most have at least 4-5 rifles of different kinds at home and there's no cap on how much ammo you can have, nor is it tracked. Add to that shooting clubs (pistols, revolvers).
And of course the criminal sector of the economy: at least 14 000 gangers who go armed 24/7, anything from some Glock or other to Red Army surplus AK-47s or CZ Scorpions, plus hand grenades. And about 60 000 more gangers with access to weapons.
And - Sweden is on the low end of the scale as for weapons and access to same.
"No weapons in EU countries". . . pfft.
